Qualified out-of-state students will pay in-state rates
In many cases, in-state rates at UNM are less than resident rates for your own state!
All non-resident undergraduate freshmen and transfer applicants qualify for in-state rates if they:
- Apply for Fall 2023 admission by February 1, 2023
- Have a 3.0 cumulative high school or college transfer grade point average (GPA)
OR - Have a minimum 20 ACT or 1030 SAT
All non-resident undergraduate freshmen and transfer applicants qualify to pay 1.5 times the New Mexico resident tuition rate if they:
- Apply for Fall 2023 admission by February 1, 2023
- Have a 2.8 cumulative high school or college transfer grade point average (GPA)
OR - Have a minimum 18 ACT or 960 SAT
