School Groups
The University of New Mexico offers group tours designed to accommodate high school groups or college transfer groups of ten to fifty students. At this time, we are not able to accommodate elementary and middle school groups.
Reservations are required. Please submit a Group Tour Request Form to request a tour. This form does not confirm your slot. Tour team staff will be in contact with you after reviewing your request.
GROUP VISIT GUIDELINES
- Please arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled time. A late arrival may result in a modification of your group tour schedule.
- If you will have a late arrival, please call the Campus Tour Office at 505.277.8503.
- Chaperones must accompany the group at all times.
- We expect all guest to be courteous and respectful. If needed, it is at the discretion of the tour team staff to conclude the group tour at any time.
PARKING AND DIRECTIONS
BUS DROP OFF LOCATION
To reach our Main Campus, take I-25 to Central Avenue NE (exit 224B) and travel east. Turn left at University Boulevard NE. Turn right onto Lomas Boulevard NE. Turn right onto Yale Boulevard NE. Drive up and drop off at the roundabout. Unload bus and have group walk north on Yale Boulevard using cross walks. The Lobo Welcome Center will be on your right.
BUS PARKING
From the roundabout drive north on Yale Boulevard NE. Turn left onto Lomas Boulevard NE. Turn left onto University Boulevard NE. Turn left onto Central Avenue NE. Turn left at Princeton Drive SE and turn left onto Redondo Drive NE. Buses may park on Redondo Drive along Johnson field. Summer 2024 Redondo Drive will intermittently be under construction. Please call the Campus Tour Office to confirmation parking location.

A LOT/CORNELL PARKING (PAID)
If you are in a personal vehicle, you can park in the metered parking spots in A Lot or in the Cornell Parking structure. Both options do have a fee associated for each vehicle being parked. To reach our Main Campus, take I-25 to Central Avenue (exit 224B) and travel east. Turn left at Stanford Drive SE then turn left onto Redondo Road. Buses may be parked on Redondo Road along Johnson Field (map attached). To reach the Student Union Building from the Johnson Field, walk west towards the parking structure. At the parking structure you will make a right onto campus and walk along the pedestrian mall to the second building on the left.
